The mustard is finally spreading, and last year's long canes are not long for the world.
We started pruning our nearly 10,000 vines last week. T. likes to start later than most wineries ... something about there being less "nasty spores" out there the longer you wait ... and the first pass through the vineyard will happen, as he puts it, by "the Ides of March," March 15.
